Founded in 2010 by Mirko Calderone, Galerie Calderone has opened a new space in Saint-Tropez. Painting, sculpture, ceramics and textile art come together in a curated selection of established artists and emerging talents, on view now and during the opening of the gallery’s exhibition at the end of September, in the presence of the artists.

Céramiste ukrainienne installée en Espagne, Nina Murashkina puise dans les arts naïfs ukrainien, indien et japonais ainsi que dans les mythologies anciennes pour créer des figures féminines flamboyantes. Avec la technique du tufting, Eponine Lutz transforme la fibre en matière sculpturale, imaginant des œuvres sur mesure en dialogue avec les espaces qui les accueillent. À Saint-Tropez, la Galerie Calderone ouvre ainsi un nouveau chapitre de son histoire, fidèle à une sélection d’artistes où la figuration contemporaine se déploie dans toute sa richesse, portée par des artistes aux pratiques et aux sensibilités multiples.
Materials and Imaginations
The gallery also showcases the work of Nina Murashkina and Eponine Lutz. A Ukrainian ceramic artist based in Spain, Nina Murashkina draws inspiration from Ukrainian, Indian and Japanese folk art, as well as ancient mythologies, to create vibrant female figures. Using the tufting technique, Eponine Lutz transforms fibre into sculptural material, creating bespoke artworks that engage in dialogue with the spaces they inhabit. In Saint-Tropez, Galerie Calderone opens a new chapter in its history, remaining true to its commitment to a carefully curated selection of artists through whom contemporary figurative art unfolds in all its richness, expressed through a diversity of practices and artistic sensibilities.
