La nouvelle télécabine de l’Ariondaz entrera en fonction dès décembre 2017. Édifiée sur le secteur prisé de Courchevel Moriond, elle remplacera la ligne qui datait de 1974. Doublant la capacité de transport de l’ancienne installation (en passant à 2400 personnes à l’heure!), elle s’avère également plus rapide (moins de sept minutes de montée contre un peu plus de dix auparavant), plus confortable et plus esthétique. Pour un impact visuel et environnemental minimum, l’appareil sera éclairé par des LEDs alimentées grâce à des panneaux solaires embarqués. Une première en France !
The new Ariondaz gondola lift will be opening in December 2017. Built across the popular sector of Courchevel Moriond, the new lift will replace the former line that was originally introduced in 1974. Offering double the transport capacity of the former installation (now capable of taking 2,400 people per hour!), the new lift is also faster (less than seven minutes to the top, compared with the previous ten), more comfortable and more aesthetically pleasing. In an effort to make it as visually enjoyable and environmentally friendly as possible, the new apparatus will also be lit with LED lights powered by integrated solar panels. A first in France!
